DMCA Policy

"Mp4 To Gif" respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the "Mp4 To Gif" service if such claims are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified in the sample notice below.

Filing a Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material available through "Mp4 To Gif" infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written notification of claimed infringement to our Designated Copyright Agent with substantially the following information:

  1. An identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
  2. An identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit "Mp4 To Gif" to locate the material (e.g., specific URLs).
  3. Information reasonably sufficient to permit "Mp4 To Gif" to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which the complaining party may be contacted.
  4. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that the material you posted on "Mp4 To Gif" was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must be in writing and contain substantially the following information:

  • An identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled (e.g., the specific URLs).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • The subscriber's name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if the subscriber's address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which "Mp4 To Gif" may be found, and that the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of infringement or an agent of such person.
  • The subscriber's physical or electronic signature.
